Samsung has today announced a new feature for Samsung Wallet, which brings cash back deals from thousands of brands in the United States straight to your favorite wallet app.
The feature is called Samsung Wallet Perks and it's powered by Rakuten. The cash back will be made available straight to your Samsung Cash Card within Wallet.
Cash back available on leading brands and even restaurants
Eligible Galaxy owners in the United States, meaning those with a compatible Galaxy device running Android 9.0 or higher, will now be able to earn cash back when they make purchases on thousands of leading brands in the United States.
The rewards will land straight into their Samsung Cash Card within the Samsung Wallet. This feature is being rolled out today, with users being able to discover personalized offers through the app. The cash back they receive in the Samsung Cash Card can then be used for payments and transfers.
The new Nearby feature helps you find nearby participating restaurants and brands where cash back can be earned when payment is made with a linked Wallet card. The earned cash back becomes spendable money that can be used at checkout for any online and offline retailer. The same funds can even be transferred using Wallet's money transfer features.
Cash back deals are available on Rakuten's network of over 3,500 brands and over 25,000 in-store and dining partners. There's something for everything here, as the brands cover the likes of Sephora, PetSmart, Gap, Lands' End, LEGO, and many more.
